The following works are selected from a series of photograms; birds silhouettes appear to float on the exposed surface of the photographic paper,
leaving only a trace, an illusion.
The mummified birds were found in Houghton Hall’s attic (Norfolk). Fallen from chimneys, the birds died there, trapped.
This series question our relationship to the animal’ death and death in nature.
